Requests & Plans
A booking can be a one-off session, a package, or an ongoing monthly plan. This guide explains the differences and how each is paid.
Making a request
You start every booking as a request from a tutor's public page. The tutor reviews it and, once accepted, you pay to confirm.
- 01Pick an offering and a booking type on the tutor's page.
- 02Choose your options (duration, dates, currency) and submit the request.
- 03The tutor accepts it, and you're asked to pay.
- 04Track the request and its status under Requests in your portal.
Single, package, recurring
A single booking is one session, paid once. A package is a set number of sessions bought together. A recurring plan is an ongoing arrangement billed month by month — good for regular weekly lessons. The tutor's offering determines which types are available. A recurring plan doesn't have to be an unbroken run. If your tutor is busy on one of the weeks, that date is marked and left out — you book the weeks that work, and the times you can pick show how many of your dates they cover. Choosing a number of lessons means exactly that: if your tutor is busy on one of the weeks, the plan carries on to the next free one rather than giving you fewer lessons.
How recurring plans are billed
A recurring plan is paid one month at a time, before each month begins. Each month you can adjust that month's sessions during your editing window; if you don't, the schedule stays as planned. You'll be reminded when a payment is due. If a month goes unpaid, you get a short grace period with a reminder before the plan ends — so a missed payment doesn't instantly cancel everything. You can view and manage your plans under Plans in your portal.
