Locations

If your organization teaches in person, places belong to the organization rather than to individual tutors. Everyone books against the same rooms, which is what stops two lessons landing in one space.

Setting up places

An owner or admin creates the places and their rooms once; tutors then select from them rather than describing an address themselves.

  1. 01Open your organization settings and find Locations.
  2. 02Add each building with its name and address.
  3. 03Add the rooms in it, with the number of people each holds.
  4. 04Add arrival instructions students will need — entrance, floor, reception.

Which tutors teach where

Tutors set which of your places their availability applies to. A tutor who only teaches at one branch will not be offered slots at another, and a student booking an in-person lesson sees only the times someone is actually at that address.

Room capacity

Capacity is enforced when a booking is made, not merely displayed. If a room is already taken for that time the booking is refused rather than allowed to overlap, so a shared building cannot be double-booked by two tutors who never spoke to each other.

Common questions

Can a tutor add their own place?
Places in an organization are managed by owners and admins so the roster of rooms stays consistent for everyone booking against it.
What if a place has only one teaching room?
Add a single room. Capacity still applies, which is what prevents a clash.
Can we mix online and in-person lessons?
Yes. Delivery is set per product, so an organization can offer both side by side.
