Students

Students belong to the organization rather than to one tutor, so a student who changes tutor keeps their history. Owners and admins see the whole roster; a tutor sees the students they teach.

The roster

A student joins your roster the first time a booking with your organization is paid for, or when you invite them directly. From the roster you can open any student to see their bookings, their lessons across every tutor, and their payment history.

What a record holds

Each student has contact details, their lesson history with your organization, billing information used on their invoices, and their notes. Tutors see the students they teach and the detail needed to teach them; billing figures stay with owners and admins.

Staff notes

Notes on a student are shared across the organization rather than trapped in one tutor's records. A note marked for staff is visible to owners, admins and the tutors who teach that student — so when a student changes tutor, the context goes with them. Notes marked private stay with their author, and notes marked shared reach the student in their portal.

Common questions

Can a tutor see every student in the organization?
No. Owners and admins see the full roster; a tutor sees the students they actually teach.
What happens when a student changes tutor?
Their record, history and staff notes stay with the organization, so the new tutor starts with the context rather than from nothing.
Do tutors see billing details?
No. Invoice and payment figures are visible to owners and admins only.
