Members & Roles

An organization is a team. This guide explains the roles, how seats work, and how to bring people in.

Roles

There are three roles. The owner has full control, including billing and closing the organization. Administrators manage the day-to-day — members, offerings, bookings, cohorts, and settings — but not ownership-level actions. Teaching tutors (members) deliver lessons: they appear on the public page, receive assigned bookings, and teach cohorts, but don't see the admin screens. A person can be an administrator, a teaching tutor, or both.

Invite members

You invite people by email from the Members screen. They accept the invitation from their own portal; if they don't have an account yet, they create one first.

  1. 01Go to Dashboard → Organization → Members and choose Invite.
  2. 02Enter the person's email address and pick whether they're a teaching tutor, an administrator, or both.
  3. 03Send the invitation — they'll get an email with a link to accept.
  4. 04They accept from their portal; pending invitations can be resent, and they expire if left unanswered.
  5. 05Once accepted, the member appears in your roster with their role.

Seats

Teaching members are covered by your organization subscription, which is measured in seats. Add seats before (or as) you invite more teaching tutors. You can increase seats at any time — the change applies immediately — and schedule a reduction that takes effect at the end of the billing period, so you never strand an active tutor mid-cycle. See Billing & Payouts for the subscription itself.

Managing teaching tutors

The Tutors screen lists your teaching members and lets you manage what each one offers and their availability. Assign tutors to booking products so incoming requests can be routed to them, and set the availability windows that drive their bookable slots. Removing a member revokes their access; their past lessons and records are preserved.
